“My vision for Two Mile Community National School is to create a school which has the highest standards of teaching and learning, where children are guided to become lifelong learners. In this school children will experience a very caring, child-centred environment which respects diversity and equality. The principal, teachers and management will work together in partnership with parents and the local community in delivering high-quality education which nurtures all aspects of the child.”

Wednesday 30th August 2017 marked a very significant day as Kerry ETB opened the doors of the Two Mile Community National School.

The Two Mile Community National School is the only multi-denominational school in the Killarney area.  Mr. Brendan Griffin TD, Minister of State at the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport officiated at the launch.

Just over two years later, on September 20th 2019, we gathered once more with Minister Griffin who officially opened the wonderful refurbishment of the Two Mile Community National School.
